Snickers Porridge Recipe



  
                                        Snickers Porridge




Okay i have to confess something...i love good porridge, but i also love chocolate and peanut butter!
And guess whats even better than all of that?
Right! A good porridge with all of that combined!
Of course you know what a snickers bar is? Then you also know how good chocolate and peanut butter tastes together.
In this recipe you can add a bit more salt, it tastes great with the peanut butter and makes everything a bit rounder!
On hot summer days i like to eat my porridge right out of the fridge, because of that i will post a few recipes for cold and refreshing porridges
in the next days, so stay tuned!

Todays recipe is my totally awesome chocolate peanut butter porridge also called snickers porridge.
Its super delicious when its cold outside and even better if you like cold porridge like me.
Its almost the same recipe as for basic porrigdge just with a few more ingredients
.

Ingredients:

1 cup Oats
1 cup Milk, Soy Milk, Almond Milk
1 cup Water
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of cinnamon
3 teaspoons good cocoa powder
2 teaspoons peanutbutter
  sweetener of your choice (stevia,sugar,brown sugar,honey)

How to make Snickers Porridge:


Step 1: Place the oats, the milk and the water in a pan with a small pinch of salt and cinnamon and put it on a medium heat.

Step 2: Bring to a steady simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring as often as you can to give you a smooth creamy porridge.

Step 3: Add the cocoa powder and the peanut butter and stir it until everything has desolved and the porridge has a smooth consistency, let the porridge rest for at least 3-5 minutes,



Tipps:

If you like your porridge runnier, simply stir in a splash more milk or water until you’ve got the consistency.
