Basic Porridge Recipe

Basic Porridge

Ingredients:

200g rolled oats
750ml milk, soy milk or water
pinch of salt

How to make basic porridge

Step 1: Place the oats and the milk in a pan with a small pinch of sea salt and put it on a medium heat.

Step 2: Bring to a steady simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring as often as you can to give you a smooth creamy porridge.


Tipps:

If you like your porridge runnier, simply stir in a splash more milk or water until you’ve got the consistency you’re after

If you like your porridge sweet, just add brown sugar, stevia or another sweetener of your choice
